As he preps his sophomore album “A.L.L.A.” release date on May 12th and his first acting role in the upcoming new movie “DOPE” coming out June 19th, the Harlem pretty-boy fashionisto rapper A$AP Rocky sat with BILLBOARD Magazine for a shockingly candid interview about A$AP founder A$AP Yams passing, the Baltimore uprising, and his own drug use.

A$AP Rocky gives a quick spread & deep interview with the magazine where he shares his ‘opinion’ on the uprise within Baltimore, Freddie Gray’s death, and police brutality. Rocky describes himself as indifferent to social issues and hopes to not get involved in much of the politics. (Hmm..)

“All it does is make me cringe. There’s not really much I could do, because I ain’t about to shoot no cop in the head, blow his fucking head off, right now. So I just sit back and pray for the best. If I’m not going to Ferguson or any of these places, protesting or contributing, I should shut the fuck up. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. It ain’t my place to speak on it.”

The most shocking part of the interview is where A$AP confesses that since the death of friend and mentor A$AP Yams, it’s hit him so hard that he’s been using LSD to cope with every day life (a form of recreational drug also known as acid. Its a psychedelic drug well known for its effects, which include altered thinking, closed- and open-eye visuals, synesthesia, altered sense of time and some spiritual experiences. AKA it’s a psych-trip.)

“It helps me cope with life … I’ve been doing this stuff since I got into the industry. People are scared to talk about it.”

(Continued) “[like it because I’m psychedelic]It’s trippy. My art, my visuals. Very trippy.”
