Chris Brown is getting wrangled into another legal problem as a woman has come forth with accusations that he shoved her to the ground, causing several ligament tears in her knee.
After undergoing endless hours of community service and anger management treatment stemming from his 2009 domestic abuse with then girlfriend Rihanna, Chris also has a five- year probationary period where he is to stay out of any trouble or he could face serious jail time. Now with this woman accusing Chris of assault, its appears rehabilitation is far from close.
According to TMZ, following Brown’s headlining performance for Power 105’s Powerhouse concert on Saturday (June 21), he was involved in an altercation with a female at Anaheim, California’s Heat Ultra Lounge. The accuser, Deanna Gines, told TMZ reporters that Brown “shoved her to the ground.” Gines, asserting that the shove was the deliberate, filed a police report against the multi-platinum star. However, Anaheim police did not confirm if there was police report for the incident.
Gines continues with her story & claims that based on her injuries sustained in the fall, she may require surgery—due to torn ligaments in her knee. She even provided a picture to TMZ of herself in crutches.
Chris Brown’s rep, Nicole Perna, responded to TMZ with, “I’m unaware of the incident, as is Chris’ lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse.” She added, “None of this makes sense.”
As bad as everyone tries to paint Chris Brown, I don’t think he’s that angry-Hulk-kind-of-a-guy. His reps say that this incident never took place so until official details come out, this is just more gossip for the masses.
*Update* According to the owner of the California Heat Ultra Lounge, the accuser is lying! The club owner said Chris Brown never even touched the female. He continues to say that the 24 year old accuser, Deanna Gines had repeatedly tried to jump on stage during Chris’ performance at the club, and later tried to rush Chris in his roped-off VIP area. She was tossed as a result of her behavior and while being taken out, the owner says Gines took off her heels and threw them at security.
The owner also mentioned that they had called the police to arrest the female, but eventually let her go home with her friends. When asked about Gines injuries, he stated, “Heat staff and security did what they had to do. (Chris) was a complete gentleman.”
Talk about crazy.
