Chris Brown really can’t stay out of trouble.
C. Breezy has been arrested for felony assault after allegedly attacking a man outside of a hotel Sunday morning (October 27), according to TMZ.com.
The singer was reportedly approached at 4:30 am by two women who wanted to take a picture with him in front of the W Hotel in Washington, D.C., according to law enforcement. When two men attempted to get into the photo, Brown allegedly used a gay slur before throwing a punch at the victim.
Law enforcement officials said that Brown did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident, however police are still holding him in custody.
The alleged victim did not throw a punch at Brown and the two did not know each other. The victim is being evaluated at a D.C. hospital and sources say that he’s claiming he was injured in the attack. No word yet on if that injured victim will press any charges.
Brown is on probation for his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna and this incident could be viewed a violation of his probation, TMZ says. If so, he could be sentenced to prison for up to four years.
