Since Chris Brown’s latest string of trouble with the law, Chris could be facing even bigger troubles. faces a probation violation hearing in August.
A judge has revoked Chris Brown’s five year probation stemming from his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. Breezy is scheduled for a probation violation hearing in August, and if the judge determines that he has violated the guidelines of his probation Chris could be facing up to 4 years in prison.
According to TMZ, Breezy arrived to court today (July 15) to defend against the L.A. County district attorney’s motion to revoke his probation after Brown was charged in a hit-and-run accident from May. The judge revoked the charges, but he’s due back in court next month for the hearing.
Since the Chris’ first stint with the law in 2009, Brown has been unable to stay out of legal trouble. In addition to the hit-and-run, in 2012, Brown was involved a bottle-throwing battle with Drake at a New York nightclub, though he managed to escape any criminal charges. In January of 2013, Brown was involved in a parking lot fight with Grammy winner Frank Ocean, for which he is still possibly facing charges. Just last month, Brown was accused of assaulting a young woman in a California nightclub although it’s been stated by witnesses and police that Chris Brown was not the culprit.
