Mayweather posts an image of a check and says he was able to read the amount on it after recent bullying from rapper 50 Cent on his poor reading skills.
Floyd Mayweather has responded to comments made by 50 Cent regarding his literacy. As reported yesterday (Friday August 22nd), 50 Cent challenged Mayweather to read a page out of Cat In The Hat, a children’s book. New York radio station Power 105.1 then leaked audio of Mayweather struggling to read a radio drop. Now, Mayweather, whose nickname is Money, has responded to the mocking with images of checks.
“Read this $72,276,000.00,” he says in a Twitter post. “God bless.”

50 Cent posted the following caption to spark this recent exchange regarding literacy.
“Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or fucking up. lmao.”
In another post, 50 Cent shared a photograph of Mayweather with this caption: “DAMN I CAN’T READ THAT WHOLE PAGE NOW. fuck you 50, Lmao.”
As reported earlier Thursday August 21st, Floyd Mayweather spoke about rappers. “Of course, Hip Hop artists, they come and go,” Mayweather said recently. “They come and go. But I’m still here.”
This is clearly just going to be an ongoing war of words between these two. 50 has jokes for days, and Floyd can take a hit.
