J. COLE & KENDRICK LAMAR HINT AT POSSIBLE JOINT ALBUM WIT “BLACK FRIDAY” REMIXES

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar have been teasing a joint project together, but nothing has surfaced yet — not even a single collab.

However, after all the Thanksgiving eats, on Black Friday, both lyricists gave us hope with a pair of tracks for the shopping holiday. Each tweeted a link to a song from the other. Kendrick raps over Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Citiez” off 2014 Forest Hills Drive, while Cole goes in over Kendrick’s “Alright” off <em>To Pimp a Butterfly.

J. Cole drops a hint during his remix, which rekindled the idea of the joint album being a real work, rather than just a rumor. Cole hints at something to come on his remix: “But this February, bet shit gets scary when I fuck around and drop [bleep].”
