Congratulations to Hip Hop mogul Mr. Sean “Jay-Z” Carter for officially becoming a legally licensed NBA/ MLB agent. But surprisingly enough, until Jay-Z relinquishes all stakes & assests in the New Jersey Nets, he cannot sign or represent any players as NBA rules “strictly prohibit any individual from owing a piece of a team and representing a player”.
Hova, together with Roc Nation Sports has already signed stars such WNBA player Skylar Diggins, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, and New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano this past April. When Kevin Durant joined the Roc Nation lineup as well recently, media was full of speculation of what Jay or who else was he planning on managing. It’s proven fact that he is a businessman first, and looking at his track record of success, the sports world is not ready for how will dominate.
Along with Jay-Z’s new journey into the Sports genre, he also has a new album being released July 4th titled “Magna Carta Holy Grail” that promises to go platinum.
So once again, congratulations Hov! Keep up the fine work.
