Kanye West has taken a less traditional route this time around when promoting his newest album “Yeezus”. West has been using a different marketing tool to continue to intrigue fans into learning more about his album – for example, he’s gathered masses to watch video premieres on the side of high rise buildings in numerous major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, & Paris which has never been done before.
The album was released on June 18th, a day after the birth of him & girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s baby girl Kaidence was born, & due to complications leading to an emergency birth, Kanye has not left his daughter’s side so album promotion has been very limited.
Below is a short film starring Scott Disick, boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian & father of their two kids as well as Jonathan Cheban, a close friend of the Kardashian family promoting the “Yeezus” album”. Lord Disick & Mr. West have formed something of a “bromance” since West started dating Kim. Kanye is very well using Scott’s love for him to help increase album sales – another non-traditional promotion.
The theme overall stems from the American Psycho series, so it’s very dark but also. However, the thriller acting is just a shadow for why it’s NEVER wise to doubt Kanye West’s music.
