When was the last time we heard news on Nick Cannon that had nothing to do with Mariah or their children? Nick has been quiet these past years but that’s due to all the hard work and long hours he’s been putting in. He has his own entertainment label, NCredible Entertainment, that he has released his last album on and created TV shows such as the funny impromptu show “Wild’N Out”. He’s had great success in TV, film, music, and most recently radio.
Nick Cannon’s radio show on the CBS network “Cannon’s Countdown” has made the top 40 list of successful radio shows on air. But, Nick will be saying goodbye to his on air listeners, to get back to this roots.
Nick said in a statement that he plans to be back on the radio soon enough, although this time he’d like to put more focus on his music. “I am extremely grateful to have had a broadcast home with CBS Radio,” Cannon said. “It has been an amazing experience working with the team these past few years. I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my on air duties in radio in order to have the time to dedicate to NCredible Entertainment and the various projects that I have on my plate in film, TV, retail and a new album. It is my plan to return to radio and my listeners very soon through my music.”
The new Wild’N Out episodes will begin airing on MTV July 9th & Nick’s final radio show will broadcast on June 8th.
P.S. Rumor has it that Nick is being cast to play “Freeway” Ricky Ross in a upcoming biopic about the druglord. Congrats to you Nick!
