NIPSEY HUSSLE SAYS JAY Z BOUGHT 100 COPIES OF “CRENSHAW” MIXTAPE

When word got out that Nipsey Hussle was charging $100 per copy for his mixtape “Crenshaw”, I automatically laughed at him. Who would pay $100 for an album when you could go to Target and pay $16.50 for one? Nipsey Hussle must have one hell of a fan base as the rapper has sold out every last copy of the 1,000, and made that cool $100,000.

Don’t know how it happened but it did.. After announcing he made his goal, Nipsey Hussle states that Jay Z purchased 100 copies of his “Crenshaw” mixtape as well.
Nipsey made the announcement from his Facebook page along with the picture of the stacks of CD’s with the caption:

Shoutout to Jay Z for buying 100 copies of #Crenshaw! http://lifeandtimes.com/newrules

Nipsey Hussle sold his mixtape for $100 yesterday (October 8) as part of his #Proud2Pay initiative. The rapper reportedly made $100,000 off the effort after selling 1,000 copies, 100 of those copies being sold to Jay Z. Sadly, Hova got no discount. (Don’t understand why he bought so many in the first place but whatever.)

Hussle spoke about this effort on Twitter, saying that he made $100,000 off the release.

Hussle also announced that additional hard copies of the project are set to be available in Los Angeles, California. Hussle also announced an upcoming Crenshaw tour, although no dates have been provided.
