Fresh off the VMA stage that was held inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this past weekend, America’s heartthrob Justin Timberlake is still busy working, and promoting his music.
Justin has been featured on several tracks since his return to the industry after a 6 year hiatus. His feature on Jay Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” was huge, and according to JT he’s got so much more up his sleeve. Jay Z’s “BBC” featured JT himself, Beyonce, Nas, Pharrell Williams, and the infamous Timbaland, & it’s been confirmed that this all-star lineup will be called upon again for his single “Sinatra In The Sands”.
During his brief visit to New York, JT stopped by the Hot 97 building to hold a candid interview with popular radio personality Angie Martinez. Angie gets Justin to talk more in detail about his “Sinatra” track, music & all it’s genres, an upcoming collaboration with Drake, and so much more.

(Sidebar: At the VMA’s Justin was presented with the Vanguard Video Award for remaining successful, and strong in his music for more than a decade. On stage, Justin got teary-eyed & even said he felt he didn’t deserve it. The late Michael Jackson was the only other recipient of the award, and Justin feels he has not achieved that level of success yet to be equivalent to that late & great. However, viewers worldwide disagree. That performance he gave for the entire VMA audience & at-home watchers was nothing short of spectacular! Especially when the members of N’SYNC appeared on stage & performed a set of their hits — it couldn’t have been any more perfect. JT has grown from that cute Mickey Mouse club boy to a grown man with immense talent. He’s going to go places & we’ll be here to watch. Congrats!)
