You may have thought that an organized gang of female criminals was only something that was shown on the big screen. However, in the past 2 months on the streets of New York City, this has become more of a reality than a blockbuster movie.

Investigators revealed that a single group of individuals conducted a crime spree spanning two days and two boroughs, targeting various items such as edibles, headphones, and even a car.

According to law enforcement officials, the series of robberies commenced around 2 am on May 21 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. In the first incident, a 44-year-old hired driver had parked his 2017 Toyota Rav 4 in front of 374 Ralph Avenue. Four women entered the SUV and launched a physical assault on the driver, repeatedly striking him in the head and body. Despite the driver’s attempts to resist, the assailants continued their attack while demanding his car keys. Eventually, they forcefully took the keys, exited the vehicle, and fled the scene, leaving the driver injured and the stolen truck in their possession.

Approximately three hours later, the crew struck again, this time in Manhattan. A ride-share driver was waiting in his 2015 Toyota sedan in front of 401 East 88th Street. Two members of the group abruptly entered the car and initiated a violent assault on the driver, assaulting him in the face and body. In the midst of the struggle, one of the perpetrators seized the driver’s wallet from the console. Subsequently, the women exited the sedan and promptly fled into the waiting SUV, which had been previously stolen in Brooklyn.

The following night, the crew targeted a smoke shop in Bushwick. All five women entered the shop located on Myrtle Avenue, unknowingly exposing themselves to the surveillance cameras. Once inside, one of the members stole a bag of edible merchandise without paying. When a 20-year-old female employee attempted to intervene, the entire crew engaged in an assault, repeatedly striking her in the face. Additionally, they seized the victim’s cell phone and took $150 in cash from the register. The surveillance footage captured the women fleeing the store and swiftly escaping in the stolen SUV.
