As the upscale private club ZZ’s gears up for its upcoming debut in Hudson Yards next month, it promises a unique clubbing experience centered around food.

A ZZ’s membership offers access to a food concierge service dedicated to fulfilling your culinary desires. This includes arranging extraordinary experiences like organizing a Thanksgiving feast in July, having a chef recreate your mother’s famous fried chicken, or securing exotic items such as Iranian caviar for delivery to your doorstep.

The club derives its name from Jeff Zalaznick, one of the co-founders of Major Food Group, along with restaurant luminaries like Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi.

Before its grand opening, ZZ’s has already received over 7,000 applications, reflecting the strong interest among patrons. Founding members, who had to be invited to apply, paid a $50,000 initiation fee, granting them and their families perpetual access to the club. They also incur a $10,000 annual fee to maintain their membership.

Recently, the club extended its application process to external candidates, allowing individuals to apply solely for themselves, rather than for their families. These applicants are required to pay a $10,000 initiation fee and an additional $10,000 annually. Furthermore, they must undergo a stringent vetting process with ZZ’s board before gaining approval for membership.
