NYC Coffee Festival to arrive in Fall
New York, often dubbed “the city that never sleeps,” is renowned for its high caffeine consumption, and it is gearing up to embrace the return of an annual celebration dedicated to the world of coffee.
Marking its seventh year, the New York City Coffee Festival is set to make its comeback this upcoming fall. Taking over the Metropolitan Pavilion from October 6 to 8, the event promises an extended weekend of coffee-centric festivities.
Over the course of three days, attendees can look forward to a diverse range of offerings, including delectable food, crafted cocktails, live musical performances, captivating artwork, and more. The event will also showcase an array of local and national brands hailing from the coffee, tea, and chocolate industries, providing attendees with unlimited tastings and enlightening presentations. Noteworthy participants include esteemed names like Parlor Coffee, Blueberry Roasters, Rishi Tea, Matcha Direct, De’Longhi, Bodum, Oatly, Raaka Chocolate, Aeropress, among others.
Coffee aficionados will find added value in The Lab program, an interactive segment featuring engaging demonstrations, educational workshops, insightful talks, and tasting sessions. The festival will also resonate with music enthusiasts through The Coffee Music Project, featuring performances by artists hailing from New York City and beyond. Moreover, The Coffee Art Project will shine a spotlight on emerging and established artists. Returning fan-favorite segments encompass Coffee Masters NYC, The Coffee Cocktail Bar, The Sensory Experience, Latte Art Live, and The Street Food Market.
Innovating for the year 2023, the festival will introduce a cocktail masterclass and a latte art tournament (with the stipulation of exclusively using dairy milk), offering a substantial $1,000 prize for the winner. Additionally, a new addition known as the Roasters Village will tantalize attendees with a curated assortment of unique and special coffee beans available for tasting and purchase, inviting enthusiasts to savor and take home these distinctive flavors.
